Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Deric. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

How Deric Works

Deric is a commitment-based self-improvement platform. You subscribe monthly, receive personalized daily tasks, complete them with verified proof, and earn rewards based on your completion rate. All outcomes are determined by your own actions and effort.

Subscription and Billing

Deric operates on a monthly subscription model. Key billing terms:

• Subscription amounts range from $5 to $100 per month, chosen by you
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the beginning of each billing cycle
• You can change your subscription amount or cancel before the next billing cycle
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds for the current billing cycle are generally not provided once the cycle has started

Reward Eligibility

To qualify for payout rewards, you must:

• Have an active subscription for the full billing cycle
• Complete assigned tasks and submit valid proof within the required timeframe
• Pass all verification checks (AI analysis, timestamp validation, and any manual reviews)
• Maintain compliance with all terms outlined in this agreement

Payouts are calculated based on your task completion percentage. Users who complete 100% of assigned tasks earn up to 2x their subscription amount. Partial completion earns rewards proportional to effort, with the highest rewards reserved for near-perfect and perfect completion.

Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any pending payouts:

• Fraud: submitting fake, manipulated, or misleading proof of task completion
• Fake submissions: using stock photos, screenshots, AI-generated images, or other inauthentic content
• Multiple accounts: creating more than one account to exploit the reward system
• Bots and automation: using automated tools, scripts, or third-party services to complete tasks or submit proof
• Collusion: coordinating with other users to manipulate the verification or reward system
• Abuse: harassing other users, moderators, or Deric staff

Submission Rules

All task submissions must be:

• Authentic: real photos or videos taken by you
• Original: not previously submitted or used on any other platform for this purpose
• Real-time: captured at the time of task completion, not pre-recorded or recycled
• Relevant: clearly demonstrating completion of the specific assigned task

Submissions that fail verification may be appealed through the in-app appeals process. Final decisions rest with the Deric review team.

Account Termination

Deric reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. In cases of fraud or prohibited conduct, termination may include forfeiture of all pending payouts and permanent ban from the platform.

You may also delete your own account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Payout Pool Disclaimer

Payouts are funded by the shared reward pool, which consists of subscription payments from all users. While we aim to pay 2x for 100% task completion, actual payouts may be adjusted in the unlikely event of a pool shortfall. In such cases, payouts will be distributed proportionally among all eligible users.

Deric does not guarantee any specific payout amount. Reward rates may be adjusted as the platform evolves.

Limitation of Liability

Deric is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deric and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Deric operates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by local law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
